For The Sincere

When we reflect on the events of Sept. 11th, we realize that it was and still is a traumatic time for every American. Every one of us was affected, whether directly or indirectly, by the occurrences on that tragic day, and has had to deal with it every day of our lives.

This book, “FOR THE SINCERE” is not specifically about the painful events of that day, but it is a concise look at what every American should know about the religion of Islam.  In the section, “What Does Islam Say about Terrorism” we briefly explain the position of Islam on terrorism, due to the fact that it is the obligation of every muslim to condemn terrorism, in all of its manifestations, as well as its fanatical adherents. A muslim will not and should not remain silent in the face of such violence and now is the time for every American to become thoroughly acquainted with the most widely misunderstood religion in the world, the religion of Islam. This should be done from the two most authentic sources in the religion which are: the Noble Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah (i.e. practice) of the Last Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (May peace and blessing be upon him and every other prophet of Allah), as they were understood and practiced by his illustrious companions.

We offer this succinct exposition as a humble introduction to the religion of Islam and the divine precepts on which it stands.
